On my return from Berlin I had a package waiting for me, 5 copies of the Polyshufflez LP which Fabien sent over. As they were getting printed in Germany I'd not seen any proofs and was a little apprehensive about how the sleeves would eventually turn out, but I was relieved to discover that they were spot on! I'll upload some pictures of them this week sometime. The remixes sleeve is almost finalised now too. Finally some more new stuff!
Right, back to the recovery...

I noticed that you made some of the artwork for the akanda remix competitions. Are those wallpapers still available somewhere now that the akanda site is down?

Im proper stoked on your work - it seems like you treasure spending some time to get results - Ive been too impatient with it all recently.
s nice to see some forum related stuff too
Inspired by your notebook deviations I've gone out and got my own so I can do some sketching to and from work. It's awesome!
Just throwing little ideas down in 10 minute blasts, not worrying about the finishing too much. It's quite therapeutic for a perfectionist!

I know what you mean. If you set out to do something, you better make it good!
Mindless doodling is a way of balancing out the desire for perfection - fast, crappy scribbles, no serious thought behind it.
What are you working on at the moment?
These 'Spine Bubble' characters might be an avenue worth perusing on canvas but I still need to take them further.
I'd also like to do an on-line flash comic, so I'm slowly developing ideas for that, or revisiting old ideas and seeing if they'll still work.
Oh, and I'm designing/building my own website too!
I've found myself being a bit too precious about the pocket sketchbook! Still, I'm starting to let go, a little
How about you, what stuff you got on the go or in the pipeline?

Maybe start with sketching one out BIG, then fill in with a simple colour pallette - bringing in more detail as you see fit.
It is frightening scaling sketches into 'real paintings' though - so much more to answer for!
Likewise, I want to do more canvasessss, and I'm slowly trying to get a little skate comic together.
I have one completed rough draft, need to re-draw and colour it though!
How are you finding the website business? Will you put yer music on it too?
